What are we doing for our clients?
SPAN’s Aunt Louise’s Pet Pantry volunteers deliver thousand of pounds of pet food and buckets of kitty litter to our clients. Not only that, veterinary assistance is provided for an average of 80+ animals annually.
What are we going to do?
We are going to grow!
Our research suggests that there are roughly 5,000 seniors who are at or below 100% of poverty in the Dallas County area who own pets.

SPAN is the proud recipient of a $25,000 grant from the Louis B. and Mary Ratliff Animal Welfare Fund at The Dallas Foundation. These funds will go a long way toward feeding our companion animals and paying for their veterinary and dental care.
