Volunteer
Volunteers are the reason behind any success story at SPAN. Without volunteers, we can’t continue the mission of helping people and their animals.
Our volunteers come in all forms, but all have one thing in common: the desire to help seniors with the special needs they have in caring for their pets. There are a variety of ways to help out: delivering pet food or medications, transporting pets to and from veterinary offices and groomers, securing sponsorships and support from area veterinarians and companies, correspondence with clients and volunteers, outreach to other animal welfare organizations, walking a senior’s furry friend, administrative assistance, and more. The possibilities are almost endless!
